The power of breath

When life starts to get chaotic. Remember, you have the power of breath readily available just waiting in your toolbox. One practice you can do at anytime is a 4-7-8 breathing technique. Sit upright so your not slouching in a chair or sit in easy pose. Close your eyes and look inward.


Breath in through your nose for 4 seconds.

Hold the breath for 7 seconds.

Exhale through your nose for 8 seconds.

This is one breath. Now inhale again and repeat the cycle three more times for a total of four breaths.

This helps slow your nervous system, reduce stress and relaxes the mind. Make an effort to do this atleast twice a day to gain benefits.


Breathing will always be free, always shows up for us, and is our closest ally.

How we use our breath will truly impact the direction of our lives 🙏 Namaste.
